SPS Maintenance Ltd are based in Dorset and specialise in the installation and maintenance of fire alarm, access control, CCTV systems, intruder, barriers, disabled refuge, disabled toilet alarms, fire extinguishers and barriers.
We have a team of engineers based all around the country working in London, Greater London, Essex, Kent, surrounding areas and Wales.
We are looking for a hard working experienced multiskilled engineer with a positive can-do approach to workload and will deliver consistently high levels of customer service to our clients.
1. Position: Full-time, permanent.
2. Excellent salary – Dependent on Experience

Duties include:
• High standard installation, servicing, and repair of numerous specialised premises security systems (fire, access, and CCTV) at various sites across Greater London and surrounding areas, predominantly commercial.
• Meeting with clients and providing a high quality of service on-site.
• Knowledge of (and adherence to) health and safety regulations.
• Record keeping by way of completing written job sheets which detail both the progression and outcome of completed works.
• Inclusion into an after-hours call-out rota (engineers on-call will be required to respond to after-hours works.)
Successful Applicant Criteria:
• Access Fluency: Paxton/BPT/Bewator/ACT/Inner Range on Both Standalone & Software driven systems
• Intercom Fluency: BPT/Comelit/Videx/Bell/Aiphone/AES/Fermax/Telguard/Urmet on 2 wire & analogue systems.
• Intruder Fluency: Galaxy/Texecom/Scantronic/Pyronix/Visonic on wireless & hardwired systems
• CCTV Fluency: Samsung/Dahua/Hikvision/Genie/Idis on IP & Analogue systems.
• A full UK driver’s license (non-negotiable).
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the installation, servicing, and repair of numerous fire and security systems (e.g. Morley, and Kentec fire panel systems, Paxton access control systems, Dahua CCTV systems, etc.)
• Experience in record keeping and producing reports.
• Experience in customer relations, and thereby adequate service delivery.
• An ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with an abundance of initiative.
• Agreeable to working within Greater London and surrounding areas daily.
• To be part of the emergency call out rota
